Arrowtown Coffee Roasters
An artisan-style coffee shop based out of Arrowtown, New Zealand.
The branding heavily uses the historic narrative of the area, which was famous during the late 1800s for it gold mining and fortune.
For the colours I’ve taken inspiration from the sycamore and oak trees that surround the local area and explode with colour during the autumn months.

The project:
Arrowtown Coffee Roasters was a business proposal for a local coffee roastery based in Arrowtown, Otago, NZ.
The idea:
My design thinking for this particular project began with a careful examination of the landscape's natural colours and the area's intriguing historical narrative. The native flora is abundant in striking amber and deep reds, complemented by a variety of earthy tones that evoke a sense of connection to the land. Furthermore, the rich historicity of the area, renowned for its gold mining heritage, provided me with a wealth of inspiration for developing custom fonts and graphics that reflect this unique story and aesthetic.
